AS350B2 – Refurbishment

AS350B2: Refurbishment,144 Month Inspection, Calendar Reset, Component Overhaul, Custom Avionics Installation and Paint.

This Airbus Helicopter AS350B2 was manufactured in 1988 and was due for a 12-year inspection, this was the perfect opportunity for a major upgrade. With combined efforts from Aeromni Aerospace Inc, interior work with Port Aerospace Inc. and custom paint from Heli-Welders., this aircraft is now lighter, operationally configured and on the job Heli-Skiing in beautiful B.C Canada.

Airframe and Avionics Upgrade

The entire helicopter was dismantled, rewired and painted. Additional DART and ECL kits were also installed. Heli-Welders Canada Ltd. facilitated the necessary structural repairs to the tail boom and cabin floor. Interior was updated by Port Aerospace Inc. All the dynamic components were removed for 6-year inspection and painted. The existing Turbomeca Arriel 1D1 engine was removed and inspections up to 1000 hours completed. The conventional push button switch console was removed and replaced with the modern, reliable Geneva switch console.
